In an episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, she talked about receiving negative comments about her suddenly swollen face, which some online users referred to as a “moon face.” While she initially dismissed these comments, medical professionals chimed in, suggesting it could be Cushing syndrome, a condition caused by excess cortisol in the body, often due to long-term steroid use. Schumer had been getting steroid injections for scars from her breast reduction and C-section, which led to her realization that this could be the cause of her symptoms.
