The nominations
announcement, initially set for January 17, was delayed twice due to the
wildfires in Los Angeles. During this time, the Academy extended the voting
window and committed a significant donation to wildfire relief efforts.
The 97th Academy
Awards, hosted by Conan O’Brien, will air live on March 2, 2025. The ceremony
will celebrate the year's best films while also honoring the resilience of Los
Angeles in the face of disaster.
