According to authorities, a young person who identified himself as a fan of the deceased Punjabi musician Siddu Moosewala was arrested after he allegedly threatened mobster Lawrence Bishnoi on social media.
According to the police, multiple accounts have been active or created on social media since the murder of Moosewala in Punjab on May 29 and are posing an open threat to several VIPs and regular citizens. A cross had been drawn on the image of renowned Punjabi musician Mankirat Aulakh from one of the social media profiles called "Gangwar 302," according to the police.
A mobile phone used to post the threats was found on a child during an investigation by police using technological analysis. KPS Malhotra, the IFSO's deputy commissioner of police, said.
During questioning, the young person claimed he desired social media fame and more likes and followers, according to the DCP.
He started a channel on YouTube. According to authorities, he intended to publish films on this channel with comprehensive information about his travels, journeys, and visits to several well-known countries, including how to book flights, hotels, and pricing, as well as the most well-known sites to see there.
He is a huge follower of Moosewala, and after his death, they claimed, he was injured.
He made an Instagram account with the username "@gangwar 302" and posted many posts seeking retribution. He noticed that some people had begun following his accounts, and the number of followers was rising daily, according to the authorities.
After that, according to the authorities, he posted some threatening messages on his account that included images of Punjabi singers Mankirt Aulakh, mobster Lawrence Bishnoi, and other criminals.
